1. Create a flat surface for the wig to sit on. You can cornrow your hair down, wrap it, or put on a wig cap.
- Tip: Wrap your hair when wearing a straight unit and cornrow it when the unit is curly.
2. Clean the perimeter of you head with your cleanser. Then apply your Scalp Protector to the circumference of your head. This will create a clean oil free surface which will be better for the adhesive to adhere to.
3. Pin up all the hair including the baby hairs, this will make it easier to cut the excess lace without cutting the hair (Your baby hairs should not be stuck to your face with glue)
4. Cut the excess lace, cut small amounts off at a time so you don’t cut off the baby hairs. Place the wig on your head, and evaluate how and where you would like the hairline. Ideally you should place the wig where the hairline will look most natural.
5. Mark or lightly outline where it is to be placed on your head. Apply adhesive on these marks.
6. Wait 15 – 20 minutes for the glue to dry before applying the lace. The glue should not be stringy. It should feel tacky.
7. Once you have secured the wig, us a comb to press down the lace, around the circumference of your head. Lace should lay smoothly with no ripples.
**Do not reapply glue to area which has glue on it already; the glue will not stick to an old previously glued surface. The area must be cleaned first, then reapply**
